Secure Sockets Layering (SSL)

Our website uses Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) to encrypt your personal credit information, including your credit card number, before it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions. Because we use SSL, placing an order online at our website is  safer than using your credit card at a restaurant or department store.

How do I know its a secure website?

When you place an order a padlock appears in the status bar of your browser, usually at the bottom right. The beginning of the web address will also change from http:,  to https: ( the 's' means secure!) This tells you that all information entered is encrypted and therefore can only be decoded on our server. Without the decoding key on our server, the information you submit is virtually indecipherable.

This website works best with Explorer versions 6.0 and above. If using an earlier version, you may get a message "unable to establish a secure connection ..." when adding a product to your cart.. Press continue, as long as the url changes to https: at the beginning, you are secure! You only need to be secure when adding to your cart or inputting details.

When inputting your credit card details, you will be asked for your CVV2. This is the three extra digits found on the back of your credit card. In case you're wondering about the 2, CVV1 is a different number, but identical in purpose, that's encoded in the magnetic stripe and read by the terminal as a card is swiped through. CVV2 were added specifically for card-not-present transactions, such as those online. It's intended to ensure that the customer physically has the card in hand, and simply didn't copy the credit card number and expiration date from a receipt they may have found.
